MilkDrop launchpad

Start fast, then keep the controls close.

Use demo audio if you want instant motion. Use microphone or tab audio if you want the visuals to react to your own sound. Presets, quality tuning, and editing all stay in this same session.

New here? Start with demo audio first. Once the visuals are moving, switch source or open the browser and editor when you want more control.

1. Get motion on screen

Demo audio is the cleanest first run.

No permissions and no blank state. It is the quickest way to confirm the visualizer is working.

2. Switch to your own sound

Use mic or tab audio when you want live response.

The Start panel handles those options without forcing you to leave the page.

3. Shape the session

Browse presets, tune quality, or edit once audio is live.

The launch surface stays useful after startup instead of disappearing into a separate tool.

Workspace

Choose audio, then tune the session.

Start handles audio and first-run guidance. Tune handles quality, motion, and compatibility settings once the session is underway.
